Jay-Z will perform the halftime show on Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, the NFL and Roc Nation confirmed this week. The rapper selected himself for the 14-minute set. Roc Nation, his company, has partnered with the league on the halftime production since 2019, and Jay-Z holds a role in choosing the performer.
No guest artists have been announced. Halftime acts routinely bring additional performers onto the field, and the list of collaborators Jay-Z has worked with is long.
Beyoncé has recorded with Jay-Z since their first collaboration, "03 Bonnie and Clyde," before they began dating. Their catalog together includes "Crazy in Love," released in 2003, along with "Drunk in Love," "Part II (On the Run)," "Deja Vu" and "Lift Off." The two married in 2018 and have three children. Beyoncé has performed at Super Bowl halftime before, joining Coldplay and Bruno Mars in 2016, and she sang the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2001 in Houston. On Christmas Day 2024, she performed at halftime in Houston.
Rihanna auditioned for Jay-Z in 2005 when he was CEO of Def Jam Records, and she later moved to Roc Nation in 2010. They have recorded "Umbrella," "Run This Town" and "FourFiveSeconds" together. She appeared on stage with him at Yankee Stadium earlier this year on his tour. Rihanna headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023, where she announced her pregnancy during the performance.
Blue Ivy Carter, the oldest child of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, danced during Beyoncé's Christmas Day 2024 halftime show in Houston and joined her mother on the Cowboy Carter tour in the same role. She also attends NFL games with her father.
Eminem appeared with Jay-Z on his current tour. The two recorded "Renegade" together for Jay-Z's album The Blueprint. Eminem performed as a guest at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.
The two teams playing in the Super Bowl will not be known until the end of January.
